My review of the book
Mr.Zhang Zhen's book is really touching. Based on the principle of being loyal to history, respecting facts, facing up to the past and speaking bluntly, he made an objective and detailed review and summary of his past. After reading, I deeply feel the "education family" from generation to generation of character, mind and pattern.Through the memories of his past work and life, it also reflected the municipal party secretary Ma Qiaozhen and their silent pay to the people of Jincheng, and the endurance and determination when they were hit and revenged by others.
Time gave him not only the courage to ride the wind and waves, but also left him to be the first, the outstanding achievements of the bold. After reading this book, I learned and absorbed the spirit and power contained therein. I will not forget; everyone who has struggled in Aidphar will not forget; The people of Jincheng will not forget too!
Mr. Zhangzhen In My Eyes
Mr. Zhangzhen is the author of the book, My Education Family and Me, also my supervisor when I worked in the government twenty years ago, but I prefer to say he is my teacher, friend and more.
I got to know Mr. Zhang Zhen in 1995 when he was appointed as the Director of Science&Technology Committe of Jincheng, whereas I served in Science&Technology Committe of Gaoping. What impressed and encouraged me in my whole life are his affable, approachable, straight-out personality and his enthusiasm, preciseness, intensive study on Science&Tech Management.
From my impression on Mr. Zhang Zhen, he isn't very social man even though he influenced so many people due to his Education and Government family background. Most of his time was spent on work, and the rest is his peace time, staying at home, thinking,reading and studying, but this didn't stop his contacting and becoming the friend of many others who have the same points of views or is glad to discuss work and life with him. His friends rang from top government officials to plain civilians. An proved case is that this book was finished by several his populace friends helping in typing, editing and printing, one of them is Yunxia Wen, also my colleague of Aidphar.
Mr. Zhang is a rare leader with a passion for economic, science and technology, devoting almost all his energy to the development and management of economic, science and technology management, rather than a rush to achieve political progress. He helped to develop Jincheng, a newly established city, into a National advanced city in science and technology.
Brief Introduction of Director Zhang Zhen
Mr. Zhang Zhen was born in February 1944 in Yuncheng, Shanxi Province, actually a village Yuncheng where zhang's family has been handed down for more than 14 generations. Grandpa Zhang Yanlin, was, at that time, Juren, the county magistrate, but also the founding father of the Revolution of 1911, the people's government at that time. Father Zhang MAO, half a rough life, half a gratitude. The second brother, the third brother, the fourth brother and the sixth brother are all famous scholars and professors cultivated in China. And his wife Ma Qiaozhen is too good daughter. A clean and self-disciplined. An outstanding cadre who is aggressive.
In 1957, Director Zhang Zhen was studying in Taiyuan No.7 Middle School. During this period, he read a large number of classical works, novels published by the former Soviet Union and some famous western literary works.
In 1962, he was admitted to Taiyuan University of Technology with excellent results and the best English score in his class. Successively served as commissary in charge of study, vice minister of study Department, secretary of class Youth League Branch, minister of study Department of department student Union, vice chairman of department student Union. In the winter of 1965, he was sent to the countryside to engage in the "Four Qing Dynasty".
After graduation from university in 1967, according to the national allocation policy, he was assigned to report in the Organization Department of southeast Shanxi Administration, and then he was assigned to the Instrument factory of Changzhi City for the second time. Soon he won the title of Shanxi Model worker. During the work in the factory his job title ranged from group leader, section chief, workshop director, to the factory director. Changzhi city radio station reported its grasp of safety to promote production of advanced deeds.
At the end of 1988, decided by the Standing Committee of Changzhi Municipal Committee, he was transferred to Changzhi No. 2 Light Industry Bureau as chief engineer.
May 1994. In Jincheng city, he served as the chief engineer of economic commission. During the period, by the provincial economic and trade commission, for many times he was reported praised and won the implementation of jincheng 1995 five campaigns, 10 goals advanced worker. he also Operated of the province's first large and medium-sized state-owned bankruptcy case.
In October 1996 he was transferred to the director of Jincheng Science and Technology Committe,. On November 7 he made a report to the standing Committee of the municipal people's Congress . In December 1999, Jincheng was named as the national advanced city of science and education. He was also awarded the national Advanced Individual in Science and Education by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and was awarded the National Advanced Individual in Science and Technology work by the Ministry of Science and Technology in March 2002.
In October 2000, he was forced to retire in Jincheng as part of Shanxi Province's pilot institutional reform program, which required people over 55 to retire. A year after leaving. In November 2001, I got caught up in a political vendetta.
In 2001. He join in founding a high-tech company called “Aide Pharmaceuticals”. During this period, one new drug were developed and put on the market.
In November 2005, he went to Beijing to work.
Since the end of 2006, he has been studying and writing books at home.

I like reading since childhood, after retirement, without no other hobbies, I became a "homebody" like the memory of the dead of night.

I found that even though many things have passed with the passage of time, I thought I could forget，but the reality told, it has been quietly hidden in my heart
Therefore, I would like to use the way of writing a memoir to tell the story that has happened in the past.
In my spare time, I looked up at the starry sky and asked weakly:
Would an ordinary me, who would never be found in a cart, dare to write a memoir?"
I seem to hear a voice: “Havn’t you woken up yet? Go to bed early!"
From then on, this thought was stillborn.
Later, I received memoirs written by some colleagues, and after much thought, I decided to exhaust my memory and tell a real story about me and my family.
Recall the story of yesterday, for me, Is it "sour"? Is it sweet? "Bitter"? Is it sad? Is it pain? Or "happy"? It's all a song with a long aftertaste.
Recalling the story of yesterday is my infinite love for the happy time I had in the past, it is to reflect on the past, it is to cherish today, and it is to look forward to a better "Chinese dream" tomorrow!

More than 50 years ago, I left Taiyuan, where I had lived for more than 20 years, with a box of books (mostly university textbooks) in my hand, and came to the most basic level of society in southeast Shanxi.
A lifelong dream!
Recalling my story yesterday, I just want to use this way to express my gratitude to my relatives, friends, leaders and colleagues who have helped me and cared for me in the past decades.
This memory, not fiction, all from my own eyes, ears, experience. To the memory, I write what I think in my heart,what I tell and what I know:
